Kathy Evans has been asking people to tell their stories to her since she was a child. Throughout her previous career in occupational therapy, she consistently found herself drawn to learning the stories of her patients' lives. Writing has also been central in her life since childhood. She has studied writing independently and through workshops, writers' groups, and classes, and has taught memoir writing as well as children's writing workshops. Kathy lives in Kirkwood with her children and assorted animals, and when not working, she likes to garden, dance, and be outdoors.
